Terrace boards – the ideal flooring for terraces, gazebos, and other outdoor spaces.
Considering the harsher conditions of use, these boards must meet stricter requirements for mechanical durability, hardness, and resistance to weather and moisture.
They are made only from high-quality coniferous logs that meet A/B quality standards – no blue stains, rot, insect damage, or mechanical defects are allowed. These boards are dried, with a moisture content not exceeding 12%.
The optimal thickness for decking boards is about 28 mm. To prevent the surface from being slippery (especially when wet), several longitudinal grooves are made in the board profile to increase friction. When laying a terrace, a small gap of a few millimeters is left between adjacent boards.
The most popular decking boards are 28 mm thick and 120 mm wide, with rounded edges and either grooved or smooth surfaces.
